I can't believe we're starting a new decade!! I have a feeling it's gonna be a good year already.

I went to go buy a plum candy and the vendor challenged me to a game of rock paper scissors... I won and got an extra candy for free! = good signs you see! :)

went to Salon Deapres in Harajuku. Their staff is amazing (all good looking stylish boys might i add) working in this perrywinkle fantasy! went for the plunge and got bangs again for the first time in years

ginza crazy by night

got out of my kimono garb and went for a few drinks in Ginza.
There are always such characters in that part of town.
The bar mama somehow got me dressed up in all sorts of costumes she had ready...
i think the pictures speak for themselves haha

Kimono get up for my 20th year on earth. I'm finally a woman!
got styled in 2 different kimono's from my nanny's childhood. these robes are over 50 years old and they still looked beautiful... i only stopped breathing for a few hours under all those layers... no big

lunched at this cute Thai restaurant with funky decorations
and shopped around Shimokitazawa with the Ota Sisters. they are too cute!
also thought this DIY pond idea outside a men's store was adorable

I wasn't allowed to photograph inside the gates but managed to snap the basket ball net from the outskirts.

If i ever have children they will have this badass hoop to play with. You can hold me to that statement

I was treated to a full course of puffer fish delicacies this night. possibly one of the best meals EVER
plus the owner/chef was adorable after he had a few too many to drink... I couldn't stop taking shots of him!

tokyo diaries

day 1.

finally got to wear this cape I found at American Vintage on Melrose which i'm a bit obsessed with.
Went to lunch at Chef Inno's newest restaurant [Pont D'or Inno]
the plates were adorable, the food was delicious and I was sweating in the cold.
Over did the layering with the fur under the cape :)
